Peruvian Princess and Guardian

"A peaceful moment, in the middle of tense times..."

Yet another old drawing: The peaceful princess and her guardian -and best friend.

Two different characters have a very different personality... The princess (to the front) is very quiet, joyful and relaxed, even when they are facing a dangerous situation; while the archer girl behind is serious and distrustful, always on the alert.

The dress of the princess is based on the Wari culture, while the warrior girl is based on the Anti (Amazonian) culture. Both cultures existed in the Pre-Columbian age.

The flowers that appear to both sides are called Qantu or Kanto in Quechua (Cantuta in Spanish), and they are native to Peru.
